Mandala Tirth Yatra – Day-wise Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m)
Arrival at Kathmandu Airport, assisted transfer to 5-Star hotel, rest and orientation.
Day 2, 3, 4
Kathmandu Spiritual Sightseeing
Visit sacred sites including Pashupatinath Temple (Rudrabhishek Puja), Guheshwari Shaktipeeth, Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayan), and Doleshwar Mahadev (believed to be the head of Kedarnath).
Health checks, yatra briefing, visa processing.
Optional helicopter visit to Muktinath (additional cost).
Overnight stays in Kathmandu 5-Star Hotel.
Day 5
Fly to Lhasa
Board your flight to Lhasa, the spiritual capital of Tibet. Rest and acclimatize to the high altitude while soaking in the peaceful Tibetan atmosphere.
Day 6
Discover the Sacred City of Lhasa
Visit the magnificent Potala Palace, the sacred Jokhang Temple, and explore the vibrant Barkhor Street, experiencing Tibet’s rich spiritual heritage.
Day 7
Monasteries & Acclimatization
Explore Sera Monastery and Ganden Monastery while continuing altitude acclimatization before proceeding towards Kailash.
Day 8
Fly to Ali & Reach Lake Mansarovar
Fly to Ali and drive via Tirthapuri to the holy Lake Mansarovar. Witness your first divine darshan of Mount Kailash and perform the sacred lake parikrama.
Day 9
Mansarovar to Darchen
Complete the remaining Mansarovar Parikrama before driving to Darchen, the base camp for the sacred Kailash Parikrama.
Day 10
Nandi Parvat & Asthapada Darshan
Drive-only darshan of Nandi Parvat, Asthapada, and Gyangdrak Monastery. Close darshan of Mount Kailash without trekking. Overnight in Darchen.
Day 11
Shri Kailash Parikrama Day 1 (Darchen – Yam Dwar – Deraphuk)
Drive to Yam Dwar, the spiritual gateway to Kailash. Trek approx. 15 km (horse option available). Overnight stay at Deraphuk guesthouse with medical support.
Day 12
Parikrama Day 2 (Dolma La Pass – Zuthulphuk)
Most challenging day. Cross Dolma La Pass (5,650 m) and visit Gauri Kund.
Senior yatris may opt for horse assistance or vehicle support if medically advised. Overnight at Zuthulphuk.
Day 13
Parikrama Completion | Return to Saga
Short final trek. Drive back to Saga via Darchen. Comfortable hotel stay for recovery.
Day 14
Return to Kathmandu
Drive to Nepal border.
Optional helicopter flight to Kathmandu (weather permitting & additional cost).
Otherwise, comfortable overland return. Overnight stay at 5-star hotel.
Day 15
Kathmandu | Buffer & Rest Day
Reserved for rest, weather delays, or light sightseeing. Preparation for departure.
Day 16
Departure
Assisted airport transfer. Yatra concludes with blessings, fulfilment, and lifelong memories.
